MAD FRIDAY!

For those who don't already know, Mad Friday is always the Friday before Christmas when people get super over the top wasted cos its their way to be all merry & get into the Christmas spirit, its when clubs, pubs, bars open their doors at 2 in the afternoon for the people who have taken the day off to stream right in.

Well I know it does sound like an excuse to party and get drunk, but its one of the most awesome excuses before New Years Eve ;p

So of course Bron, Sarah & I would join in the fun right?

Before that, Ethan & I had a gorgeous meal at Central Park. I noticed that the interior of Central park is kinda like Central Perk in Friends, I think that was their point, can't be that they both have similar names & the same interior lol.

We both wanted a steak so bad!We always have sudden cravings for steak and so we ordered it
but I was confused when it got to our table, the steak was still rare and sizzling on top of a stone!We were that hungry we just ordered our steaks without realised you had to cook them yourself!I was a little put off at first cos I knew I'd mess up, I'm no chef to cook my own steak to my liking!but I actually enjoyed it very much!My giraffe ordered prawns with his steak and I ordered half a lobster, which didn't last long at all, its mostly shell with a miserable slab of flesh, it was still awesome though mmmmm. Okay food critics, I know lobsters are never served with an abundance of flesh -_-

It reminded me so much of Pepper Lunch in Singapore where you cook it all yourself!I loved the meal and finished every bit of it, I had to cook the onions and mushrooms as well which made it all smell lovely.

Ethan & I decided to meet our friends and then meet at the end of the night, what a good compromising plan haha! So he set off to meet Jack & Kyle in Barnborough and I stayed in Central Park to have a few cocktails with the girls before hitting the clubssssssssss!!!!

Bron & I planned to wear our House of Holland Suspender tights <3 We plan to wear at least one same item sometimes lol

It was a great night!It was actually a teenier bit different than a normal night out in town cos people are even more drunk, don't know how thats possible in Donny lol!There were more bloody fights, as in literally bloody with people throwing glasses at each other and I was like "not my face!"lol

Ethan & his friends met us and we danced the night away.

The original plan was to dress up as sexy santas but we couldn't be bothered in the end, we just wanted to wear our new outfits we got.

Earlier on in the day I got this super awesome red strappy bodycon dress from Miss Selfridge for £35, right dear I know but I had to have it plus I had some advanced Christmas money at hand, heheh.

I need to start taking pictures of my outfits more, especially when I put loads of effort into it lol, but I just can't do the funny looking fashion blogger-esque type of photos, its so over rated and weird now!

POLAND DAY #1

MY POLAND HOLIDAY with Ethan! 

So this is my very first time going on a holiday out of the country without my family! It is also my first holiday with my boyfriend and his family omg. I am so touched that they took me with them :') SO SWEET!

Ignorant as it may seem, from someone who did quite well in her O level History, I totally forgot what Historical relevance Poland had......

So Ethan & I watched Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List prior to going on this holiday and that's when I remembered that some people in my History class in Whitley Sec back in Singapore went on a History school trip to Poland and they went to the exact places where we went to I can't believe that was totally wiped out of my memory!

Unfortunately, only the ones who scored like above 90% could go for that school trip, it cost like SG$2000(maybe a little lesser) per student :O! I'm so glad that I didn't go because it didn't cost that much for me to go to Poland, especially because its within Europe so its cheap. 

My flight cost £60(SG$120) including taxes & return flight ;P

Eating & shopping in Poland is also CHEAP. I loved it there especially our hotel room!I would sooo go back there again!

DAY #1

This is Ethan's special holiday sandwich which is stuffed with eggs, 2 different types of sausages, smokey bacon, brown sauce & ketchup!VERY UNHEALTHY so that's why he only makes when he goes on holiday

We flew by Ryanair so the baggage allowance was only a hand luggage so I had to literally plan out exactly what I was going to wear each day because of that.

Not to mention the huge misunderstanding of the limit on liquids you can take on air. Ethan gave me the impression that the total amount of liquid you can take is 100ml, turns out you can bring up to a litre of liquids but they have to be in separate amounts of 100ml. I had to choose between my toothpaste and deodorant (I left my deodorant and used Ethan's instead :p)

The flight was only 2 hours, but with my asthma, my body is rather sensitive to the air in planes :/ so I started to have a bad sniffle which turned into a cold! FML, I was finally on a holiday(apart from trips to Singapore) and  my asthma decides to kick in!

I can be quite obsessive with health, so I popped Echinacea tablets for weeks on end prior to the holiday as I was paranoid that I would fall ill. Clearly, it had no use.

I am quite proud of myself because I actually did not let my bad cold get to me, I forced myself to be positive because I was on holiday and there was no way I was going to be a baby and rest in the hotel all day. I forgot I even had a cold most of the time which was great.

Ethan's mum had no idea at all as to what to expect with the hotel room as she booked it without knowing what the rooms looked like and kept telling us to expect the least but.... the moment we walked in, all of us were like WOW THIS IS HUGE!It was very Victorian themed with tall doors, long curtains, 2 double beds, high ceilings and a massive amount of space.

After running into each other's room to see if everyone had the same awesome room, we headed to a well-know Jazz bar called Jazz Club, just round the corner of the hotel.

It was really dark inside the bar but it was like going into a cave, it was so quaint and hidden that I loved it!It was nice just chilling out and listening to the Jazz band play on our first night.

I decided I needed some cold tablets so I went to what seemes like a Pharmacy, unfortunately the lady did not know English and I ended up purchasing some laxatives with Polish instructions(I only found out they were laxatives when I got back to England and googled it) but just as I walked out, I spotted Panadols and got them instead to stick the safer side. So glad I did that as my cold along with the aftermath of two laxatives would not have been a pretty scene for Ethan.

I'll update day 2 very soon!We spent the day at the very pretty city area :)

Poland is just so amazing, ignorant as it may seem, I did not expect it to be anything like it was. I did have the assumption that it would be a backward country but Krakow is definitely as modern as Central London, I dare say.

6 months

Guess what my boyfriend got me for our 6 months anniversary.......

A Vivienne Westwood bracelet!I always feel like I'm about to burst into tears whenever he does such things for me.

And he got me pretty flowers in my fave colours, he even got me a pink rose :') I am so grateful to have him. I still feel like a schoolgirl who gushes about her crush and giggles whenever she thinks of him. Everytime I think about us, I always wonder how the hell I got him.

Its been a year since I met my dream guy and its been half a year since we got together. We've been the cheesiest couple ever and I never ever thought I'd ever find a guy I can be like that with but here I am being the most annoying loved up couple with him, not bothering about people sneering at us lol. We are very pda and I'm not bothered about what people have to say to that.

He took me to Manchester on Saturday and its been seriously hot here all week. I had to bare my fats for all to see, well, I do that anyway, Its come to a point where people just have to deal with it lol. It was awesome to be away from Doncaster and we had a super cute meal at Frankie&Benny's cos I had a single Bacon Cheeseburger and he had a double stack philly cheeseburger(hungry boy) so it seemed like His and Hers burgers. We went to a massive Urban Outfitters and I've never actually bought anything from there even when we went to London but I'm constantly looking for my white nirvana tee and cheap monday shirt :/ its never there. Anyway, there was a restaurant that sold Laksa for friggin £11!!!thats $22 wtf! I knew it'll be shit anyway so we didnt have anything from there. We spent a whole lovely day in Manchester and got some money for Poland(which we leave for in a week's time!!!wheeee!!!) then back to good old Donny for a few drinks in the pub and snuggled up together back home :)

I was in a relationship before Ethan, I think loads of people obviously know about that but without sounding bad, I was only with my ex cos I thought thats all I can get so I should just stick with him even though I didnt want to, it never felt right and we always conflicted. When I met Ethan, he and I were in a relationship with someone else, in fact he was my friend's boyfriend at that time :/ Its not as bad as it sounds!but the moment we met we did not leave each other's sight at the party we were at, it was like nothing else mattered. He's the best thing that's ever been mine and I probably sound very sickening and cliche but its really like a fairytale with him.

 Like today, he brought me to a place where it seemed like we were part of a postcard. It was a massive hilly field with lots of cupid flowers and it was literally so huge you couldnt see one house or anything, its the type of place where you can never find your way back. It was just us in a never ending field with footpaths that lead you to another pretty field. It might have been something he was used to with him living here all his life, but it was different for me. It was beautiful, quiet and serene. That's our special place now, a huge "countryside" where its just us there and no one else. I laughed at the fact that in Singapore, I found Toa Payoh Town Park as like the most prettiest park ever and when I came here the scenery just totally shut me up with that cos its everywhere and they're not even tourist attractions. I'll snap a few pictures the next time I am there, he already thinks its weird that I'm always taking pictures of random things but hey I'm still Singaporean and that's what we do lol.

This is the first time in my life I got the guy I wanted, I believe he is the one, we are too alike for words its unreal. I am never letting my Ethan Huntington go.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR POLAND YAY!Its my first time on holiday overseas without my family and my first holiday with my boyfriend(and his parents&grandparents) so Im superduperfriggin excited!:D 6 more days!6 more days!yay! kthanxbai

Us 3some had a good farwell tapas meal at Manana Manana and it was so cute cos each of us ordered the same thing- an amazing chicken chops dish drenched in mushroom&garlic cream sauce. I've been there twice now but I didnt take a picture of it today but it is DIVINE!mmmmmm.

Went to The Old Angel after that and had some wine before getting a lift home :')

It was really heartwarming cos Carissa, Bronwen and I used to go out clubbing every Saturday night, we were the 3 single party animals, then of course I got a boyfriend and today was our first night after months where it was just us 3 again. We linked arms to keep warm like how we used to and as usual, always making sure I'm in the middle cos we're the chocolate sandwich you see, Im the chocolate that always has to be in the middle :')

I'm gonna miss how whenever we slept at Carissa's after a night out we share a double bed and even then I have to be in the middle, we kinda get paranoid if I dont. LOL sucked for them cos I always need the toilet in the middle of the night, haha I cant help that I tank down a zillion pints of beer every Saturday night.

The 3 of us instantly clicked when we first met, we were equally too girly for words to being with lol.

Fish is getting married

I got my invitation for Kelly(My fishy)'s wedding today. She's getting married to Andie, nawwww.
I love how she's invited Ethan & me together in one invitation, heheheh so cute, its like we're all adults now and couples have to be invited together.

As you can see from the invitation, they're getting married on New Year's Eve so they can start the new year married!Cheesy is good! ;p

I wonder if they'll dress up their pet snakes, lizards and dog for the wedding, hmmm. That'll be adorable.

St Leger Horse Races

I went for my first Horse Race event!One of the biggest ones in England and it was sooooo glam!

Bronwen got me my ticket for my birthday!SO SWEET!I love my breadie!Thank you!!!!<3

Horse racing is a big tradition in England, its been going on for centuries and I love how this tradition still lives on. The town which I live in hosts one of the biggest Horse Races in the country, called the St Leger Races. This race is one of the oldest as well cos its been going on for more than 400 years! :0

 The event takes place in a massive horse race stadium and its always full of people looking all fabulous!People get really into dressing up for these races, especially the females of course!They wear fancy dresses, big hats, fascinators, the works, etc. The men wear suits or tuxes!Its a dress code so not one person would be dressed casual. The main thing about this event is of course betting on horses and getting drunk lol. Once the race is over, everyone hits the clubs in town. Some people don't even bet on horses or even watch the race, they just go for the races for the vibe and champagne ;) It goes on for a whole week and females go for free on Ladies Day, thats when girls get even more into it cos more men would be turning up on that day.

My boyfriend, Bronwen and I went for the main event on Saturday.

It cost £50 per person to attend this event, there are different areas where you can be at the stadium and you pay according to which section you want to observe the races and hang around at, so we chose the County Enclosure cos its one of the best ones and theres a few bars, stalls, etc. plus its easier to watch the races. My boyfriend likes to place bets so he bet on every single race lol, I preferred to stick to my Strongbow bottles of cider and watch the race.

We kept having to go into the indoor bit to sit down cos our feet were giving up on us, not including Ethan of course cos he wasn't wearing heels lol.

I saw loads of people from school and everyone was all glammed up with their fascinators and big hats. I wore a fascinator but I didn't take a photo with it cos I had to take it out eventually since it kept poking into Ethan's nose whenever he hugged me, ouch! He tolerated it for a few hours and then finally told me when he couldn't handle it anymore lol.

I loved it at the races!It reminded me of whenever they show footages of the royalty at horse races together with other posh people having champagne and cheering on their horses lol and to be honest, it felt just like it!Its one of those times where you can wear a stupid OTT dress with a fancy hat and no one will laugh at you!I defo want to go again next year and I will place some bets next time lol. Oh btw, Prince Charles was there as well! :D

We met up with Carissa, Holly, Kelly, Andy, Jack & Kyle in town! They laughed at the way we were dressed all OTT but so were everyone else in town!

Kelly showed us her engagement ring!!!!!!!My fishie is gonna get married to Andy!Congrats fishie!!!!!

Fyi, I call Kelly a fish cos she's got short term memory, not cos she smells, and she calls me Cat and we call ourselves CatFish which is lame but cute, yay. Whenever we do pairwork in school together we always paste a catfish cartoon on our work which always causes epic confusion in our sociology reports lol.

I don't know how long we stayed clubbing in town but it felt quite long to me considering the fact that I was drinking booze since morning lol. Carissa and Jack were getting it on ;) they look cute together. Its so typical of girls to want one of their girl friends to be set up with her boyfriend's best mate right? lol but this time I did not plan/scheme anything okay!They kinda just started dancing together like magnets lol.

So Ethan & I left cos we were hungry and wanted some pizza from the very awesome Gino's!Words can't describe the pizzas made there, its just an ordinary takeaway alongside other takeaways in our local town but its the bestest one you'd find which is why theres always people in there.

I am not kidding but this is a candid photo Ethan took of me while waiting for our pizza in Gino's, the reason why I so happened to be smiling is because I was looking at the pizza menu and was craving some garlic&cheese bread, True story!I don't like this photo that much but I credit it cos it was taken at like 1 in the morning, haha its a case of good timing + good angle lol.

First time meeting the boyfriend's grandparents :O

OMG
So I met Ethan's entire direct family yesterday!
It was his dad's 50th birthday and they invited me for it, I was soooo touched that they even invited me for such an important birthday. At least I know they are not treating me as anything less than Ethan's long term girlfriend :')

I got his dad chocolates from Hotel Chocolat cos Ethan said his dad kept taking the chocolate which I got him, lol.

First, his paternal grandma, Jean, arrived and she was like "wow!your hair is soooo long and beautiful", hahaha it made me so shy! Ethan's mum was very nice, she kinda stood next to me a lot :') maybe cos she knew how nervous I felt.......or maybe I was actually trembling lol.

I feel that grandparents are the hardest to get approval from cos they adore their grandkids, plus Ethan is his parents' only child so the protection is that much stronger compared to their other grandchildren who have siblings to fend for them. Okay I'm starting to sound like I'm a tiger entering another tiger's family lol. I don't know why I chose a tiger as an example. Anyway! his maternal grandparents arrived and they were equally as sweet! His maternal grandma, Sheila, looked at my teeth and got really excited over them, she was like "WOW!They're so white!did you get them done?where did you get them done?" which made me even more shy and Ethan was like explaining to her that my teeth is naturally that white lol. Then she started telling me stories about her trip to Turkey and she saw loads of people with super white teeth and found them so fascinating! Then she looked at my Vivienne Westwood necklace Ethan got me for my birthday and started to tell me how much she likes Vivienne Westwood!The fact that she was soooo socialable really put me at ease, shes one person you will never feel awkward with let me tell you! His grandad, Ray, asked me about food in Singapore and if they really sold fresh Octopus in the markets and I was like ummm no.
They're so CUTE!!!! His grandparents are just ever so awesome! They really liked me :)

We ordered loads of Chinese food from the takeaway and laid out the table for everyone to sit, then we had cocktails and our meal. It was really nice and chilled out, my nerves were all gone.

Ethan's mum has always wanted to take a photo of us 2, awwwwwwwwww, the last time she tried we managed to get out of the house before she could even find her camera.

but this time, before we knew it she went to get her camera and started to take photos of us :')

At least she likes us being together, which is important :)
Btw, that cake on the table top behind me is soooo good!Yummmm!

GIRAFFE'S BIRTHDAY!WOOOOOO + A LEVEL RESULTS :O

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST PERFECT BOYFRIEND IN THE WORLD!
It was also my A level results day, how convinient -_-
I told myself that even if I had shit results, I will not have a bitchfit till the next day so that my baby can enjoy his birthday :)
but there was no need for a bitchfit, I did quite well actually;p I didn't screenshot the "congratulations" post on UCAS but I cried when I saw it at 6 in the morning! So even thought I got into university 100% to do Fashion Journalism, I decided that I'll take a gap year to get some work experience before I go to uni cos I'm still quite undecided, even though its super cool Olivia Palermoesque to do Fashion Journalism, it is too narrow a subject to focus on so I still don't know if I should do just journalism then do a masters in fashion journalism or just fashion journalism all the way...........ahhhh I know that some people don't really have these choices but I worked hard enough for my grades to have these options. So I'm on a gap year now woooop!No studying for a year! oh and no worries to UK citizens, I will not go on job seekers allowance and take money off the tax that you employed people pay in.

Okay enough about me, back to Ethan's birthday! my results just made it all the more better to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday!yay! So something fucked up has to happen right? well I ordered some John Mayer stuff online aaaaaaages ago but its a no show currently wtf so straight after breakfast at the pub with Dec and Laura, I rushed to Meadowhall to get him some more pressies to make up for the missing present. I knew what I was going to get anyway :)

I got him boxers from Jack Wills(;p), a massive bar of his fave chocolate from Hotel Chocolate, shower gel from Hollister's and a shirt from Hollister's to make up for the John Mayer stuff :)

Hotel Chocolat is really awesome stuff, I got him the gigantic version of his fave chocolate....

Look at all that yummy florentine, yummmmmmm. Btw I didn't let him give me any cos I wanted him to have it all to himself

Theres 2 reasons why I got him a shampoo/shower gel from Hollister's. 1)We always go into Hollister's whenever we go to Meadowhall 2) Its got his last name on it!Huntington!score!

Declan, Megan, Danny, Carissa & I met up for lunch to celebrate my birthday!
I know I celebrated it like 2 times already but I didn't get to celebrate it with Dec, Megan & Danny so we went for a meal at none other than ZEST!!!!My fave restaurant!!!!

This is the first time a friend baked me a birthday cake and Declan prepared the ganache(one of his cookery terms he keeps using, he's gonna study food at uni lol) a week before for it to be seasoned well.

He bought loads of different types of Cadbury chocolate to fill into the cake, look at all the Milky Bar buttons as well!!!! :')

I must say, mmmm yummy!!!!

Some nice wine to go with our cake, Dec & I shared the wine cos the rest of them weren't fans of wine lol.

We had an amazing meal too!I had Spicy Lamb Skewers & it was soooooooo tender & good!Zest cooks everything to perfection no less!I've been wanting to try it since last October cos it looked nice on Megan's plate lol so I finally got to have it!HAHAH
