Summer in Sunny Singapore

*Edit/Wipeout*- I used to go out with a frog. That frog is non-existent in this blog and therefore is totally exculded from all posts and my memory of my summer in Singapore so I will only include my mates that I went to see and my family

SUMMMMEERRRRRR
Guess who's back?back again, kitty's back, tell yo friend!
HARRLOOOW Singapore!
Our gorgeous pink luggage bags were £50 each!!!

My sister and I had to get the taxi to our local railway station with our super massive bags and although we had reserved seats on our train, we couldn't get to it cos of our ginormous bags and selfish people already loaded up the luggage areas, so we had to sit by the friggin toilets. Then, we had to find our way from London's King Cross Station to the London Underground and get into that tiny tube train with our friggin heavy bags and stood for an hour squashed with our bags in the train. Then we had to get off and go through the barriers and make our way to the airport to finally check in our bags. We then had a 8 hour flight to the airport from hell called Mumbai Airport where we had a transit of 13 HOURS and then a 8 hour flight to Singapore. Do not get on Kingfisher, its a good flight with low rates and all but seriously, you'd go on it if you like torture.

I was back for my Summer holidays to bask in the sunshine of my homeland. Absence really did make my heart grow fonder of Singapore. I was like gonna cry when I touched down lol.

I couldn't believe at all that Year 12 was over and I was already heading to Singapore!
I was there for like a month and I am soooo glad I got to see Petrina and my Man Whore Lovers Club(inside joke).

I also got to see my dearest grandparents!

I GOT TO SEE MY PETTIE BOOBS!
She's the longest friend I've ever had, that doesn't sound right cos she's not physically long..uhhh you know what I mean.
We get up to a lot of weird ass antics lol. She's one of the main people I really wanted to see when I went back and we're still awesome friends, yay!:) It was her 19th birthday too so I HAD to be there of course!

As usual we went to our usual haunts in Orchard Road....
That girl literally bought the whole of Daiso that day. They were happy.

She has pink hair, which means typical Singaporeans will stare till their eyes bleed. That means she has a spotlight. Attention is good.
Her way of reminding herself to meet me

The crappiest Wendy's burger!A single patty in a square shape!seriously taking the piss out of Wendy's.
Right. What happened was that the toilet in Far East Plaza had a squirting device in the toilet bowl and that was like the first time of my life seeing one of those. So I decided to press a random button and that thing literally cummed on my top. So my extremely intelligent idea of drying my top was to use that hand dryer and Petrina snapped a pic cos I looked mental. Nice.
I went to Chips/Cuscaden!$10 jugs of San Miguel and super awesome fried wings!Plus they've got awesome music so I don't think I will ever get sick of that place. I mean its always infested with underaged international kids or local posers who want to be like them but block them out and its a nice place to be in for a good hour or so.

Bumped into Lily!!!Not seen her in ages!

With an old secondary school friend, Jia-Ting

                                                    LEFT BOOB'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Nothing like a good old tiger beer in Singapore :')

I constantly had dates with Mcspicy! You have no idea how OBSESSED I am with Mcspicy! Its the most perfect burger theres absolutely no faults in it!I would crave for it in the middle of the night in England, reach my phone then realise 2 things 1)NO FRIGGIN MCDELIVERY! 2)NO MCSPICY!WHYYYY
Can't we all have international peace and merge all our Mcdonalds menu?!?!

Foodgasm or what?!I probably had it more than 10 times while I was there. All were double Mcspicys. This is probably why I am at the gym like everyday now but I have no regrets. If I put on weight because of a Mcspicy, I will forgive it. It is a very compromising relationship we have. We are still maintaining our LDR and my feelings are never less.

Well I had other food affairs too, You have to excuse me, Its Singapore after all and when a citizen comes back, they'll be going on a rampage at hawker centres.

BOTAK JONES!!!!!!mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Cheese fries with extra cheese and extra fries with some BBQ wings?!YES PLEASE!!!

Chicken Curry with Rice and Bandung omnomnomnom

black pepper beef with rice, nommmmmm

KFC Egg Tarts! The sexiest tarts in the world. Mind the pun.

They actually don't have Captain Crunch in England!Seriously update your shelves ASDA!!!

Only in Singapore you can go out at 3 in the morning and get yourself a large box of Beef Hor Fun to share with your family.

People love to assume that once a Singaporean moves to another country, they forget where they came from. Only some people are like that and I am definitely not one of them. I have a love/hate thing with Singapore and its always been like that since I was little. A lot of the people in my Tamil class in primary school could not understand why I was never that integrated with the culture, its simply because I am not like that. I always had my own set of morals and beliefs and it clashed a lot with other people's views on things and such. Nevertheless, I am a Singaporean and I don't think I will give my citizenship up for a British Passport. I may disagree with loads of things there and got loads of nasty comments on forums because I had my opinions on Singapore but they can kiss my ass. So my opinions are not influenced with me moving here, I've always had those opinions even while living there and not knowing that I will be moving away. Yes I disagree with tons of things in Singapore but I enjoy the company of my family, friends and the atmosphere there and that is enough for me.

and I love Mcspicy too.

I'll be back biatches!
xoxo
